Agriculture, which has stood at the heart of life for thousands of years on Türkiye’s fertile lands, is now facing a new test with the growing challenges of climate change and increasing global food demand. In this environment, Tiryaki Tarım stands out as the specialist agricultural company of Tiryaki Anadolu and one of the country’s largest private-sector producers. The company carries out its operations under the legal entity of Yıldız Bitkisel Ürünler Tohumculuk ve Tarım Sanayi A.Ş.

Tiryaki Tarım implements a wide range of innovative projects—from agricultural production in the Muş Plain and regenerative farming practices to smart irrigation systems and digital agriculture solutions. Its mission goes beyond growing crops; it aims to safeguard the future of agriculture by preserving soil fertility and promoting sustainable farming methods.

The Muş Alparslan Agricultural Enterprise hosts one of Türkiye’s largest and most advanced private-sector smart irrigation systems. Water drawn from the Murat River is transferred through a system powered by five massive pumps into a 76.5-kilometer underground pipeline network. Supported by an automation infrastructure that can even be controlled via mobile phone, the system enables both drip and sprinkler irrigation. Satellite imagery and sensor-based monitoring ensure that crops receive precisely the amount of water they need, resulting in up to 30% water savings and up to 70% yield improvement. This innovative approach is planned to be expanded across all arable lands of the enterprise by 2035.

Tiryaki Tarım is also one of Türkiye’s pioneering centers for regenerative agriculture. Initiated on a 1,000-decare pilot area, these practices are planned to expand to 60,000 decares in total.
